Welcome to United States Beach Soccer Federation

The United States Beach Soccer Federation (USBSF) was established to further promote the sport of beach soccer within the United States and to enhance the quality of play both at the grass-roots level as well as the professional level. The USBSF was founded in the state of California in 2008 as a non-profit 501.c3 in an effort to address the needs of thousands of beach soccer players, coaches, tournament directors, league organizers and enthusiasts seeking a more structured promotion of the sport. Working closely with the United States Futsal Federation (USFF) the objectives will be handled by addressing the following key initiatives, namely:

  1. The creation of a national beach soccer federation to officially represent the United States according to FIFA/ BSWW guidelines
  2. To bring about the recognition of beach soccer as an official Pan-American Games and an Olympic Games sport
  3. To unify and coordinate a national tournament system that produces an annual national championship
  4. To educate and license referees and other officials according to USBSF Rules of the Game
  5. To establish permanent USBSF leagues in order that they will work closely together
  6. To work closely with county, city, state, and federal municipalities to bring about fixed beach soccer pitches and permanent goal settings
  7. To help financially and promotionally, licensed USBSF leagues and tournaments, both existing and yet established
  8. To coordinate efforts to help USBSF leagues and tournaments find outside sponsorship opportunities
  9. To provide member players with minimum personal injury insurance for all sanctioned USBSF leagues and tournaments
  10. To provide an infrastructure at the grass-roots level capable of bringing youth into the professional realm of beach soccer 
  11. To oversee the management and selection of the USBSF national team, both men's and women's
  12. To educate, promote, formalize, and extend any measure of goodwill towards the furtherance of beach soccer, both within the United States and abroad
Since its inception, the USBSF has actively sought the camaraderie and competition offered by the sport of beach soccer. We encourage all enthusiasts and players of "the beautiful game" on sand to form friendly relationships amongst each other and in the community. This is the sport we love, and we are all ambassadors.
